Three years ago in November Barbwire N Bougie was born but I’m no stranger to the boutique world. Back in 2006, I founded my first company, Punchy Cowgirl Boutique, and poured eight incredible years of hard work, late nights, and sheer passion into building it from the ground up. It grew into a thriving boutique that served many ladies across the country.

In 2014, I felt it was time to slow down, breathe, and enjoy life’s simple moments—because tomorrow is never promised. After many prayers, I made the tough decision to sell my boutique and traded the wide-open spaces of my Central Texas cattle ranch for the turquoise waters of Belize. Yep, I went from cowgirl boots to barefoot island life!

But if you know me, you know I can’t stay away from building something I love for too long. After two years in the Caribbean, that undeniable fire to create and connect through fashion came roaring back. So, here I am—back in Central Texas, embracing this wild, beautiful journey once again!

Barbwire N Bougie was born from my love for authentic western style with a modern, bougie twist. We’re an online boutique, but you’ll also catch us at  many roadshows throughout the year so keep an eye out for our mobile boutique trailer !
